Batman Begins wasn't a remake...a remake is a film with the same basic premise, characters and story and then told in a different way for a new audience. If Batman Begins was a remake, it would have Batman fighting the Joker and courting Vicki Vale. A reboot is a totally new interpretation of a character/series.
I guess they were grasping for at least ONE fresh "sequel to a remake" lol.
